The Mission of Ares Cyber Division is to secure businesses of all sizes against cyber security threats and achieving recognised cyber security standards. We believe that cyber protection should be available to everyone irrespective of business size, budget or technical know how.
We understand that for entrepreneurs, micro, small and medium businesses some of the greatest obstacles to becoming cyber safe is a lack of technical knowledge, time, and funding which is why we have partnered with CyberSmart to bring you an affordable solution to Certification and Real-Time Threat Detection!
Collectively our team is made up of seasoned cyber security specialists, compliance experts and experienced software developers. Together we bring you a tool which can be used without any technical knowledge. Our innovative tool is more cost effective and more secure than traditional solutions and will ensure protection of up to 80% of cyber attacks while being compliant with UK Government Cyber Security Standards.
You might ask what about the 20%??? This is where your Anti-virus, Anti-Malware, Anti-Ransomware and Firewall pick up the slack and provide you with as close as you can get to 100% cyber security!
Government Back Cyber Essentials Certification Scheme
The government’s Cyber Essentials scheme ensures basic cyber security measures are in place, preventing approximately 80% of cyber attacks. The scheme is centred around 5 controls and ensures that most vulnerabilities are secured. The recent NHS attacks would have been unlikely to have occured if Cyber Essentials had been implemented. Cyber Essentials helps prevent the vast majority of cyber-attacks. Even a simple virus or piece of malware could result in loss of company and client data, disrupt your cash flow. An attack could also put your customers at risk, stop you trading and damages your hard-earned reputation.
Data Loss, is a breach of the current Data Protection Act 1998 and the GDPR which became law in 2016. With GDPR Enforcement set to commence from 25th May 2018 fines and/or prosecution for businesses who have done nothing to protect their customer, contractor and employee data are a major risk to business resilience and continuity.
